Reverse Engineering from Drawings or Samples
The process began with the client providing technical drawings and a physical gear sample. Our engineering team conducted comprehensive dimensional analysis using advanced coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and 3D scanning technology. Every tooth profile, helix angle, and material specification was carefully mapped to ensure the recreated bevel gear would integrate seamlessly into the existing gearbox assembly.

We also performed metallurgical testing on the original part to identify its material composition, hardness, and heat-treatment characteristics. This allowed us to match the performance properties of the original gear, ensuring reliability in the demanding conditions of mining operations, where heavy loads, dust, and vibration are constant challenges.

Manufacturing Excellence
Using high grade alloy steel and advanced CNC bevel gear cutting machines, we manufactured the new gear with tooth accuracy up to DIN 7–8 standards. Our Klingelnberg gear measuring center verified every dimension, confirming the gear met strict tolerance requirements.
