The bevel gear ratio can be calculated using the formula:

Gear Ratio = (Number of Teeth on Driven Gear) / (Number of Teeth on Driving Gear)

In a bevel gear system, the driving gear is the one that transmits power to the driven gear. The number of teeth on each gear determines their relative sizes and rotational speeds. By dividing the number of teeth on the driven gear by the number of teeth on the driving gear, you can determine the gear ratio.

For example, if the driving gear has 20 teeth and the driven gear has 40 teeth, the gear ratio would be:

Gear Ratio = 40 / 20 = 2

This means that for every revolution of the driving gear, the driven gear will rotate twice. The gear ratio determines the speed and torque relationship between the driving and driven gears in a bevel gear system.
